<description>Obeisance and Great reverence to GURU ON Guru Purnima July 18th 2008
Guru from Sanatana Vedic is HARI WHOSE MANTRA IS AUM TAT SAT.
PRANNAMM_NAMASKARA JAYA SATT CHITT ANANDA

"Gurubrahma Guruvishnugurudevo Maheshwarah
Guru Sakshat Parabrahma Tasmi Shri Gurave Namah"

Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is God Maheshwara
Guru is Parabrahma itself, so my obeisance to Guru.

A Guru is an illuminator like Indra, Brahaspattii, Surya, Aditya, an inspirer like Sarasvatti_mata, a grace like Ganesh, a teacher like SHIVA, a guide like KRUSHNA, a spiritual master like SWAMI Chinmoy, a self-less LIGHT like a divine spirit of life who brings us light or jyott of dharma or satt-dharma [righteousness]. A true Guru is humble, spiritually serene, tranquil, quiet, pure, indifferent, patient, polite, humanely generous, self-lessly magnificent, divinely service bound, with benign intentions, divine love, grand compassion, caring and affectionate yet detached from the very essence of another’s life. A guru is an anchor, solace and security; a hope, friend in need and parental indeed. A guru is a Mother, a father older brother, younger sibling, anyone who lovingly shows us a pathway, or a road or a passage in time. We must be more than grateful to anyone who lights a candle in the passage of our karmic life pilgrimage. A Guru is Hanumantha, who exemplifies virtues of integrity and servitude without any selfish intentions. Guru is GRACE, Guru is faithfulness, Guru is contemplation like Buddha.
On the full moon day of Ashad (Hindu month – July) is known as “Guru Purnima.” It is the birthday of the greatest Sage-Shri Maharishi Veda Vyasa. He compiled the four Vedas – Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Atharva Veda and Sama Veda. He authored the Brahma Sutras, which contain the essence of Vedanta. He is known as Krishnadvaipayana, the son of Parrassara. Then He also wrote the eighteen Puranas, including the deeply devotional Srimad Bhagavata. His aim was to help the simple–minded persons to understand and comprehend the deep meanings of the Vedas. To simplify the great teachings, he used legends, parables and many thought provoking anecdotes to help us open our minds. Such Guru as VyasMuni are like great souls. Inspired by Mata Sarasvati and graced by Ganesh, the spirit of life flows to write and to express the spiritual brilliance of the celestial messages.
Yaa kundendu tushaar haar dhavalaa, yaa shubr vastra vritaa
Yaa Veena vardand mandit karaa, yaa shvet padm-aasnaa
Yaa Brahma aachyut Shankar prabhriti bhir, devai sadaa vanditaa
Saa maam paatu Saraswatee bhagwatee, ni-h shesh jaadyaapahaa
Our obeisance to Saraswatee Maa, the Goddess of learning, who is fair like the kund flower, the moon and the snow; who is dressed in white with the precious Veena in her hand; who is ever adored by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Protect me Mother, by removing the dullness of my intellect completely.
Veena dharay vipul mangal daan sheelay
Bhaktaarti naashini viranchi haresh banday
Keerti praday akhil manorath demahaarhay
Vidhyaa pradaayini Saraswatee nowmi nityam
O Mother Saraswatee, your Veena is ever providing divine sounds throughout the three spheres. You grant food fortune to all; you remove the afflictions of your devotees. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva revere you; you are the bestower of fame and the fulfiller of all wishes. You are the fountain of knowledge, O Mother Sarawatee, bless me and protect me throughout the night and day. Please Mother, I beg of you.
The relationship between Krishna and Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita is the perfect example of the Guru-Disciple relationship. The true path of the guru is the path of surrender. To progress on the spiritual path, you have to surrender to the Divine (and to the Guru as the incarnation of the Divine) and renounce everything.
GURU REMOVES DARKNESS OF IGNORANCE AND BRINGS US KNOWLEDGE, DIVINITY AND LIGHT OF WISDOM OF THE SPIRIT, OF THE LOVING COMPASSIONATE LOFTY HUMANITY THAT FURTHER TAKES US TOWARDS ENLIGHTENMENT.

Knowledge of Atma (Self-Realization) is not very easily acquired. In the process of trying to acquire this knowledge, a person can become very learn- ed. He can impress people. He may even appear to be a sage. If he does not have a clean heart, he can use this knowledge to get what he wants-fame, money, etc.

In this age, the majority of the saintly personalities do not have Atma knowledge. That doesn't mean that they are all bad. But if they do not have the DIVINE knowledge, then they cannot impart divine knowledge onto you.

Because most of the saintly persons do not have Atma knowledge, it is ok for a person to not have a Guru in a practical situation or circumstances.

BELIEVING IN HANUMANTHA AS A GURU IS ENOUGH! Say VedVyas. Hence Hanumantha is given the boon of immortality until Ram is uttered by us on this sinful earthen clay.

In fact, it is dangerous to have a false Guru today, because most likely, he is not qualified Guru. People may get offended at this statement, because everyone thinks that his Guru is the true one. That is alright. But just be aware of the qualities of a true man of knowledge: love, patience, calmness, peacefulness.

True knowledge is in your heart. First learn to love yourself, learn to love others, learn to be kind. You may have all kinds of vices-lust, anger, jealousy, etc. Learn to observe these vices. Do not be worried or ashamed of yourself for having these vices. Just observe them. Many of today's Guru's have the same vices as you do, but they are good at hiding them.

Learn to be kind to your family. Do not consider a meat-eating relative to be a demon; love him, also. Then, God will send a true Guru. Do not be in a hurry. Do not worry. God is not going to damn you. You are not going to be a roach in your next life. These are all the politics that religious leaders use to manipulate people. Do not worry about being an animal in your next life. Do not worry. God loves you immensely. God loves you immensely. God loves you immensely.
GURU IS VERILY IN YOUR OWN SOUL DIVINE ..............
GURU IS BRILLIANT SHIVA, THE MAGNIFICENT HARI, AND THE TWO TOGETHER HARI AND HARA BRING THE LIGHT OF MILLION DELIGHTS OF BRAHMA THE SOUL DIVINE ILLUMINATION OF SURYA NARAYAN SUN GOD........
FOLLOW YOUR ATMAN YOUR ATMA WILL NEVER LIE TO YOU. LISTEN TO THE INNER VOICE OF RAAMA, SHIVA, JIVANATMAN.
Love and peace,
