Arun Lakshman reporting from the state of Kerala in India for ‘The Pioneer’:

The recent cache of 87 guns from a container in Kochi port and the subsequent arrest of one R.O.Koya as the major conduit in this deal has created ripples across the state. Kerala which has the dubious distinction of turning fast into next Kashmir is in the tip of a volcano and anything can happen any time. Kerala had witnessed bombs blowing off in train, seizure of abandoned pipe bombs which are deadly in the alleys and ghettos of Malappuram, the Muslim majority district of Kerala ,and the recent explosion caused by a bomb in Kozhikode.

The National Development Front or the NDF is the new force of terror in the horizon of Kerala which is the new front end of the erstwhile SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) with almost all the former activists of this banned organization regrouping themselves to float NDF. NDF is neither National or Development with harsh Islamic laws ruling roost in the organization.

This organization is credited for the broad day light brutal murder of the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) Kannur district Bhoudik Pramukh T.Ashwini Kumar who was a promising youngster with a high degree of intellectual capabilities. He was targeted and brutally butchered by trained cadres of this organization which however claims that it is in no way involved. It is learnt that Muslim kids had encountered Ashwini while he waiting for bus and had told him that his end is near, some days before he was assassinated.

The state police which has to obey the political masters did not do anything to bring the culprits of this gruesome political murder to light. It was the UDF (United Democratic Front) in power with the Indian Union Muslim League as a coalition partner there was nothing much the Congress Chief Minister, Oomen Chandy could do. The police in fact conducted some raids in the headquarters of the NDF , Green Valley but the police team were blocked and not allowed entry. This place was notorious for having tested bombs and the police intelligence doubts that almost all the trained criminals of this organization are given shelter in this place which has massive area and is surrounded on all sides by huge walls virtually becoming a fortress.

Central agencies have given in writing to central home department about the impending danger this organization would cause to the state. When Saddam Hussain was hanged in Iraq both the Communists and Congressmen of the state declared a 3 hour hartal or Bandh in the state just to appease the Muslim fundamentalists of the state. There are Saddam streets and Saddam beach in Kozhikode and Kasargod. The latest international developments in the Islamic fundamentalism are being shown around in the state in secret locations using high quality CD’s and to raise the temper and emotion of the Muslim youths of the state.

This proves beyond limits that there are fundamentalist elements among Muslims and with the advent of NDF as an organization catering for these elements they are getting a common platform and with enough and more funds they are in a land buying spree through the state. Central intelligence agencies have already given warning alarms that many of the properties brought in strategic areas across the state is being funded by Dubai based international terror organizations with the absconding Mumbai blast key accused Dawood Ibrahim calling the shots. Intelligence has given this report to Union Home Ministry which had alerted the state home department on the ill effects of such callous attitude in the sale of lands with strategic importance including land near to the airports of the state and near landmark companies including KRL and FACT.

While the state tourism has promoted the Kerala brand as God’s own country nationalists and right thinking citizens of the state are worried that Devil has infiltrated into this Gods’ own country and if the state administration is not doing anything at least in these late hours the state will go the Kashmir way.
