Gajavadana, by Sumit Sanghai
In this picture puzzle (called paint-by-numbers), cells in a grid (16 x 16) have to be filled or left blank according to numbers given at the side of the grid to reveal the hidden picture (of a Hindu God). Each number represents the length of a block of consecutive filled cells in that row or column. For example, a clue of “5 1 8″ would mean there are sets of five, one, and eight filled squares, in that order, with at least one blank square between successive blocks. (There is exactly one solution and the puzzle does not require any guessing).
For a detailed explanation of rules, and hints on how to fill the grid, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paint_by_numbers
