The 'Hindu Youth for Unity Virtue and Action (Hindu YUVA)' at university of Texas at Austin hosted a talk on "Understanding Karma". This talk is a part of the 'speaker on campus' series conducted by 'Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh'. This talk also marked the starting of the YUVA weekly meetings for fall 2007. The event started with brief introduction of Hindu YUVA and the speaker Dr. Shrinivas Tilak. Dr. Tilak talked about his recent book 'Karma'.

Almost 20 students attended the talk. Audience included people of Indian and non-Indian origin. After 60 minute long lecture, session was opened for questions. Event was included with a brief information session about the 'yuva for sewa' summer internship. Students had a lot of questions about the concept of Karma, therefore, Discussions continued after the event.

Organizing committee members of Hindu YUVA accompanied Dr. Tilak for the dinner. The evening concluded on a note of thanks to Dr. Tilak.
