The students of UT Arlington organized a lecture by Dr Shrinivas Tilak as a part of the Speaker on Campus project in Southwest Sambhag.

An organization by the name of Fine arts Society of India helped the Hindu Yuva of UT Arlington in arranging a room for the lecture. The event started at 7:15 pm and Dr Tilak spoke about the four petals of Hinduism which include Dharma, Sanskriti, Parampara and Itihas. The seminar was attended by about 20 people of Indian and Non-Indian origin.

The lecture concluded in about 45-50 minutes and session was left open for students to ask questions to Dr Tilak. The event concluded with a note of thanks to Dr Tilak.
