Hindu Youth Society at Bradley University in association with HSS organized the workshop on “Vedic Mathematics” by Shri. Ravi Kumar Ji on 02nd October 2007.

The program started as planned and on time. Dr. Shashtry Ji welcomed the speaker and the audience. Presented the introduction of the speaker. Shri.Ravi Kumar Ji, with his charismatic style of presentation captured the attention of gathered crowd. One of the American students, who is a Mathematics undergraduate, volunteered to come on the dais to solve a division by 29 multiplication problem with product up to 28 decimals in just few minutes!!! Audience were enthusiastic and were eager to know more about the different vedic mathematics formulas and the techniques in detail. One of the audiences requested to arrange for a detailed workshop on this topic. 30 people attended the program.

Smt. Sunita Shastry Ji, on behalf of HYS gave the token of appreciation to the speaker. This was the first program organized by HYS at Bradley in Fall’07. Our gratitude to HSS for helping us to get the speaker to Bradley and we wish them the best in their future endeavors.
