Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA, Inc. (HSS) condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Bengaluru and Ahmadabad, India.As Hindu-Americans, we uniquely feel this loss experienced by our holy land of India, and our prayers are with the families and friends of the innocent victims of this dastardly deed. Moreover, we call upon our fellow Americans to stand with the citizens of a fellow democracy in their fight against terrorist violence.We ask that the authorities in India recognize that such attacks are aimed at India in part because of the unique place that India holds for Hindus in India and globally. On behalf of Hindu-Americans, we demand that the authorities in India bring the terrorists responsible for these attacks to justice.

The great Indian epic Ramayan was presented by 60 kids from Bloomington - Normal, Illinois, USA with all fanfare and festivity on June 8 ,2008 at the prestigious Bloomington Center of Performing Arts (BCPA). This event was attended by more than 600 spectators who appreciated the talent and enthusiasm of kids enacting the scenes from this timeless epic. The occasion was the grand finale of Kaun Banega Ramayan Expert (KBRE) contest. This contest was organized simultaneously across towns in USA by Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) .

Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, USA strongly condemns the serial bomb blasts in Jaipur, India, on May 13, 2008. Sixty precious lives were lost and 200 innocent people were injured in this act of terrorism. Our prayers go to those who lost their loved ones and to the innocent victims.

On Saturday, April 12, over thirty teachers and a principal from seven school districts in the Houston area attended Guru Vandana (Teacher Appreciation), at Keshav Smriti. Organized by the Hindu Education Foundation (HEF), a project of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, the utsav allowed hardworking teachers to be honored and appreciated for their endless work by their own students. In the spirit of respect for their Gurus (Teachers), children from Houston area Balagokulams invited their teachers to the event and presented them with a token of appreciation.
